VIETRESCON 2025 – A Milestone for Vietnamese High School Researchers

We are proud to celebrate the success of VIETRESCON 2025, the very first conference dedicated to Vietnamese high school students presenting their original research outcomes under the evaluation of American professors.

Hosted under the mentorship and evaluation of professors from many universities in the US and other countries such as India, Malaysia, VIETRESCON 2025 marks a historic step forward in nurturing Vietnam’s next generation of scholars, innovators, and changemakers.

Over the event of the conference, participants showcased cutting-edge projects across diverse fields, from artificial intelligence, biomedical engineering, and environmental sustainability to psychology, economics, and social innovation. Each presentation reflected not only scientific rigor but also the creative spirit and determination of Vietnamese youth to address real-world challenges through research.

Beyond academic recognition, VIETRESCON 2025 fostered meaningful exchanges between students and international mentors, inspiring a deeper passion for inquiry, collaboration, and global citizenship. The conference stands as a powerful symbol of what young Vietnamese minds can achieve when given the opportunity and guidance to explore their full potential.

This conference was not only a stage for showcasing ideas, it was a transformative learning experience. Participants gained first-hand insight into the full research process: from designing hypotheses, collecting and analyzing data, to articulating findings in a professional academic format.

Throughout the conference, students were inspired by their peers’ diverse projects, spanning fields. For example, the participants learned new findings related to AI and machine learning, biomedical innovation, environmental science, embedded systems, and digital marketing. By engaging in discussions, Q&A sessions, and feedback exchanges, they learned to think critically, refine their methods, and appreciate the interdisciplinary nature of research

“Listening to other students’ work opened my eyes to how broad research can be,” shared by Bui Trung Kien. “It motivated me to improve my study and think more creatively about my next project.”

Under the guidance of professors, students also developed essential academic skills, from structuring a research paper and defending results with evidence, to communicating complex ideas with clarity and confidence. These experiences empowered participants to see themselves not just as students, but as young scientists contributing to real-world knowledge.

VIETRESCON 2025 represents more than a conference. It is the beginning of a movement to nurture a research-driven culture among Vietnamese youth. It proved that with curiosity, mentorship, and collaboration, Vietnamese high school students can reach global academic standards and beyond.

This groundbreaking conference showcased ambitious projects given by talented high school students. For example: some authors presented attracting topics of applications related to Machine Learning and the Internet of Things (IoT), two of the most impactful and trending fields in technology today.

Several outstanding young authors were honored with Best Paper Awards, recognizing their remarkable contributions and innovative thinking.

VIETRESCON 2025 marks an inspiring step forward, proving that Vietnamese high school students are ready to take on the global stage of research and innovation.
