Our conference will be organized in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Hanoi, the capital city and one of Vietnam’s two special urban areas, is often proudly introduced as a land of millennia-old civilization. Deeply rooted in the nation’s heroic history, Hanoi has long held a pivotal role in shaping Vietnam’s cultural and political identity. It served as the capital of many ancient feudal dynasties, including the Dinh, Ly, Tran, and Le dynasties, and continues to be a symbol of resilience and development.
In 1010, King Ly Thai To moved the capital to Co Loa and renamed it Thang Long, meaning “Flying Dragon” which is a name to represent the aspirations and prosperity of the Vietnamese people.
Beyond its rich heritage, Hanoi has also emerged as a dynamic center of economic and technological growth in recent decades. As the heart of Northern Vietnam’s economy, the city hosts major industrial zones, startups, and high-tech parks such as Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, which focuses on information technology, biotechnology, and clean energy. It is also home to prestigious institutions like the Vietnam National University and Hanoi University of Science and Technology, which foster innovation and research that drive the country’s digital transformation.
Hanoi has been recognized as a rising tech hub in Southeast Asia, with growing investment in AI, fintech, and smart city infrastructure. The city’s digital economy has expanded rapidly, contributing significantly to Vietnam’s GDP.
