TIPS FOR GOOD PRESENTATION IN HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS RESEARCH SHOWCASE
It’s an opportunity for HIGH SCHOOL students to create an application, along with good presentation which has three components: the abstract, a slideshow, and an opportunity to show yourself on camera with a video, talking about your project.
HOW TO WRITE A GOOD ABSTRACT
The abstract should be no more than 350 words
1) Be concise
2) Don’t include information that needs a reference
3) It should act as a stand-alone description of your research project
4) Format it as a single paragraph
5) Include two to four sentences describing the overview of your research and its significance
6) Describe your research goals, methods, and outcomes
7) Describe why the study is happening
8)Use searchable key phrases
9) What motivated the study? What is being tested?. What do you hope to find? What do you think will happen during the course of experimentation? And why are you studying this particular scientific question?
